My name is Jackie Smook.
I am a singer, actor, writer, comedian, and puppet maker. My current credits include ABC's Chicago Fire as a Guest Star, American Idol contestant, A Series with DoorDash featuring my puppets, National and regional commercial, and Second City Director Program Showcase. I am a comedian in the non traditional sense. I create really insane characters and perform them for people.
I am currently on Minor league for ComedySports and host and headline for multiple comedy shows around town. I have performed my original show at 54 Below and we were an official selection for United Solo Theater Festival Spring in NYC, where I was awarded BEST EMERGING ARTIST AWARD 2023.
Along side these things, I host trivia at multiple bars including Lizzy McNiells and HQ Beercase...and I'm an absolute pool (billiards) shark.
